What Causes Dizziness And Nausea Upon Waking Up In The Morning?
I have been dizzy for the past four mornings on rising out of bed. The first morning it happened I was also ver nauseated? I had some Phenergan on hand so I took one, but I pretty much slept all day. But ever since, I feel woozy when I get out of bed. I have had hypertension since I was 35. For the past year my doctor has tried me on various be meds, but the side effects were so that I couldn t continue. I was on Mavik for years but when I was hospitalized during my back surgery in Nov 2015 my be was not well controlled. For the past three weeks I have not taken any bp meds, but My body has been normal per my ReliOn monitor. YYYY@YYYY
Early morning giddiness may be due to BPPV or postural hypotension or transient ischemic attack etc. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. It may be side effects to some drugs.
