What Causes Dizziness And Nausea With History Of Having Prostate Cancer?
My husband is sick with what he is describing the room rotating back and forth, not spinning, feeling hot and cold with no temp and nausea no vomiting. He is 69 and had previous prostate cancer, takes blood pressure meds but no other medical previous condition. Diabetics for family history.
Your husband is suffering from vertigo. He also has a history of having diabetes and prostrate cancer. Your husband is suggested to take Vertin-16, it will help to reduce dizziness and nausea. Get your husband examined by an ENT, he will have to get few required tests and investigations done. He will be treated accordingly, vestibular rehabilitation and canalith repositioning maneuvers are also helpful.
Your husband is advised to stay at rest, he should not do any heavy work or drive. He should take sips of water and fluid whole day. He should keep himself well hydrated.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
