Hi Dr. My daughter is almost 14. She is an athlete and is petit. Nothing has happened to change her routine. Today she complained that she felt dizzy after school. I recommend she rest and drink some water. At bed time she is complaining of feeling dizzy when laying down. She has flushed cheeks, but no fever. She has a bit on nausea but she reports its from the dizziness.
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, if you mean to say that this is petit mal syndrome then she should be on some medicine for that, but if this does not mean anything like that, then this could be due to hypoglycemia, in my opinion better to clear this confusion, else this is nothing to worry, (You have not given the history in detail ) hope this information helps, take care.
