My daughter has experienced dizziness and nausea 6 times in 4 weeks. In between she was fine. She went to doctor today who said she didn’t have ear infection in either ear but did have fluid so he gave her a prescription for an antihistamine to dry up the fluid. If this doesn’t resolve her symptoms she will then have to go to someone else. I am trying to figure out where this fluid is and how did it get there when she hasn’t been swimming. Not even sure how to begin to look this up. She self diagnosed BPPV but that doesn’t seem to be this doctor’s thought. What does she have, how to prevent or lessen chances of having this again, how did she get it to begin with. Thank you
