What Causes Dizziness And Nausea?

Good day, I picked up my daughter from work because she was really dizzy and nauseas. Urgent care said she may have the flu...........but they have no flu tests in stock. Her only symptoms is the dizziness, nausea. She has vomited twice. Does not sound like the flu to me but hey put her out of work for a week.......just in case. Is that overkill? Also......now has a headache.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear. Welcome to Healthcaremagic. I read your query and I understand your concern. I think it is a gastrointestinal viral infection or known as stomach flu. Keep her in observation and keep her hydrated.
Take acetaminophen or ibuprofen for headache. Take care.
Hope my answer was helpful, if you have any other questions I'll be glad to help you.
Best regards Dr Olgeta Xhufka ( general and family physician ).
