Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Dizziness And Pain In The Back Of My Head?
I have recently had blood work which came back clear of all diseases that can be checked from blood work. I have seen an ENT that said I suffer from atypical migraines and possibly TMJ because I am constantly dizzy and have ear pain but my ears are clear and there s no fluid. I get dizzy when I stand up and it doesn t go away. I get dizzy if I watch too much TV or am on my computer/phone too much. I get nauseous a lot and get anxious when I have to eat and after I eat. What could be causing the dizziness and pain in the back of my head as well as the panic disorder?
Hi I had gone through the question and understand your concern. According to me your ENT diagnosed it right , i.e. atypical migraine and TMJ.
In atypical migraine , one can experience pain in back of the head. Although headache can be due to change in your eyesight power.
As far as TMJ is concerned , it is not a disease of ear but pain is referred to ear. so , ears will be clear but still you will experience pain in ear.
So , i would recommend you to consult your ophthalmologist you your vision. And if that is correct then consult your physician for possibility of migraine and also get your blood pressure checked.
I hope this information helps. Wish you good health.
