What Causes Dizziness And Stomach Ache While On Mobic?
I was placed on Mobic about 2 weeks ago and started having some of the side effects... stomach pain, chest tightness, dizziness, taste change in food, itching on my left middle abdomen. I went to the doctor today and was changed to peroxicam. I read it has the same side effects and my concern is that I will have the same symptoms come back. I am afraid of the seriousness it has when taking. Should I be concerned and just take Tylenol or something different?

Both Mobic (Meloxicam) and piroxicam are non-steroid anti-inflammatory drugs.
However, if you suffered side effects from mobic, that does not mean you should suffer the same side effects from piroxicam too.
So take it safely and observe for any side effect.
