Hi,I am Dr. Andrew Rynne (Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Both my wife, age 56 and myself age 70 have recently started to suffer from dizziness and mild stomach discomfort, kind of queasy feeling. In my case the dizziness started today, but my wife has had it for several weeks. It s not prolonged but in her case even occurs when she is prone in bed. The symptoms do go away, but return intermittently. Wondering whether it s diet deficiency or something else. Welcome any suggestions
Hello. You might be having gastritis or aid peptic disease. You need to follow some lifestyle tips.
1. Do not eat spicy food 2. Take medications for gastritis- pantop/omez/rantac 3. Take little food at frequent intervals. Breakfast around 8am, small snack at 11am, lunch at 1pm, small snack at 4pm and dinner at 8pm 4. Drink plenty of water 5. Do not smoke, take alcohol or tobacco and even excess of coffee and tea 6. Do not take much of stress. Stress aggravates gastritis 7. Do regular exercise. Atleast half an hour per day 8. Learn meditation techniques 9. Follow this regularly for 21 days. It is said that anything you practice regularly for 21 days becomes a habit
