Hi there. I am really desperate!!! . A month ago I gt up experiencing dizziness. I slept it off and went to the doc the following day. I was given antibiotics and serc. I am still having imbalance and floating sensations as the day goes on it gets heavier. It was coming abit better but now I have a swollen thonsil and one ear is clogged. Now the symptoms are back but abit milder. The imbalance tho has never stopped and when I look at stuff it feels as my eyes ate also shaking.please advise me . I also have ringing in the left ear and a previous throat infection
Let me tell you tonsillitis is the infection of parotid glands, which is close to the ear and near the temporomandibular joint.
Any infection of the glands causes problems with ear, joint and throat.
As a result patient can feel sounds in ears and pain, clicking in the TMJ, imbalance due to vertigo.
You do not worry, the symptoms will subside as glands return to normal.
It will take a few days for the infection to subside. I still feel your visit to a dental hospital specially department of oral medicine and radiology so that you can be properly examined and accordingly treated.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Soheel Hussain Zargar, Dentist
