Hello,

Let me tell you tonsillitis is the infection of parotid glands, which is close to the ear and near the temporomandibular joint.
Any infection of the glands causes problems with ear, joint and throat.
As a result patient can feel sounds in ears and pain, clicking in the TMJ, imbalance due to vertigo.

You do not worry, the symptoms will subside as glands return to normal.
It will take a few days for the infection to subside. I still feel your visit to a dental hospital specially department of oral medicine and radiology so that you can be properly examined and accordingly treated.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
