What Causes Dizziness And Vomiting Post Wisdom Tooth Removal?
Hello i had my wisdom tooth removed on Thursday last week under general anaesthetic. I am feeling very lightheaded and dizzy. I feel abit sick and did vomit. I don't want to eat or drink but i am trying my best as having lots of painkillers. i feel it could be infected and feel really ill.
As you mention that you have symptoms of dizziness and vomiting post wisdom tooth removal which is very normal thing as it is due to after effects of local anesthesia and due to large amount of blood loss during the procedure.
Need not to worry. I would advise you to follow the post operative instructions and maintain proper oral hygiene. Take plenty of fluids and take soft diet. If it is due to anesthesia it will go away in 2-3 days. If symptoms persist for more than 4-5 days or get worse then consult your surgeon without any delay to rule out condition like nerve injury.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
