What Causes Dizziness And Vomiting While Suffering From Gallstones?

I have gallstones and a cyst on my uterus that were discovered at an acute care and lately i have been experiencing vomiting sometimes after meals, i have also had some uncommon bouts of dizziness (difficulty walking or standing - when i do it makes me throw up) and my ankles and feet have been swelling daily for the last couple weeks. Don t think they are related but not sure whats going on. the accute care Dr. didnt give me any advise for any treatment or further testing

Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor service.
I read your question and here is my advice.
I don't think it is related to gallstones but it seems you are suffering from orthostastic hypotension.
Occasional dizziness or lightheadedness may be fairly minor — triggered by mild dehydration, low blood sugar or overheating. Dizziness or lightheadedness may also happen when you stand after sitting for a long time. If these symptoms happen only occasionally, there's likely no cause for concern.

Some heart conditions that can lead to low blood pressure include extremely low heart rate (bradycardia), heart valve problems, heart attack and heart failure.Thyroid conditions, adrenal insufficiency (Addison's disease) and low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) can cause orthostatic hypotension, as can diabetes — which can damage the nerves that help send signals regulating blood pressure.

Hope I have answered the question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
