What Causes Dizziness And Weakness In The Legs?

I FEEL WOOSEY AND LIGHTHEADED ABOUT 11AM. AND I JUST WANT TO LIE DOWN. I FEEL BETTER UNTIL I GET UP. MY LEGS FEEL WEAK. THIS IS NOT NORMAL FOR ME. I HAVE DIABETIS ALTHO MY A1C IS ALMOST NORMAL. I DON T TAKE MY BLOOD NUMBER EVERY DAY SINCE IT HAS BEEN SO GOOD. I DO TAKE METFORMIN. I THINK LOW LIQUID INTAKE MIGHT BE A FACTOR. ANOTHER FACTOR IS THAT NOTHIN TASTES NORMAL. THIS HAPPENED LAST FALL AND I LOST ABOUT 30 POUNDS. I DID GET MY APPETITE BACK SOMETIME IN THE SPRING.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is possible that you may have an acute viral infection. This would cause weakness and a loss of appetite.
Decreased fluid intake would play a role, it would be important to increase to 8 to 10 a day.

If the symptoms worsen or there is no improvement, then it is best to see your doctor for a physical assessment and possibly bloods.

I hope this helps
