What Causes Dizziness, Cold Sensation In Head, Blurred Vision And Blackout?
My husband is type 2 diabetic that is under control almost making the condition non existent. However for the past five years he has been dizzy daily to the point that sometimes he feels faint, He also has the feeling of running water in his head when he drinks liquid and now has cloudy vision with black spots and is loosing his memory. We have seen brain, heart and blood doctors and his ears and eyes have been checked. All test cam back normal. NO ONE CAN TELL US WHAT IS WRONG with him.
** 1. since he is type 2 diabetic and all other bodily investigations are normal, thus could be age related problems [astigmatism/alzheimers disease] or changes occurring due to long standing diabetes [autonomic dysfunction]
2. The key to the diagnosis of dizziness is a thorough history and physical examination along with . Complete blood count (CBC), electrolyte level, kidney function tests, thyroid and blood sugar tests ad additional investigations like X-rays, CT scans, and MRI may be indicated depending upon the patient's needs.
