What Causes Dizziness During Rainy Season?

Hi, I get dizzy/ lightheaded when and before it rains - usually a big storm. My diet is normal, my sleep is normal. Suffered a concussion from a car accident back in 2012. I get some exercise regularly cardio. No other medical issues I can think of. But when it rains, sometimes my head feels uneasy and off balanced. Why is that?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It is not common for patients to feel symptoms with rain or weather changes other than joint pains as the change in the pressure in the atmosphere might affect them.
Maybe similar thing is happening to you and you are sensitive to the changes that happen in the air with the weather changes and feeling dizzy.

Still it is important to see a doctor and have a visit to make sure all is well and that there is no findings that needs medical attention.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
