What Causes Dizziness, Excessive Sweating And Nausea After Smoking Cigarette?
Hi I am 43 years old. I have been smoking for 24 years. Recently I am feeling sweaty, warm, uncomfortable after smoking cigarette. Dizziness, nausea, feeling faint. Few days back I had a problem in ECG but later I did Echo and ETT. There doctos said I don t have any prob in my heart. What is happening?
Hello dear Understand your concern All these symptoms occur due to nicotin intoxication as you are smoking since last 24 years. Smoking affects all the system of the body mainly circulatory, cardiac and pulmonary system. As nicotin is increased in system produce nicotin intoxication. Nicotin cause stimulation of sympathetic nervous system and result in secretion of adrenaline from adrenal gland that cause increase in blood pressor. So dizziness, excessive sweating and nausea due to increased blood pressor and over activity of sympathetic nervous system. You should quiet the smoking slowly. Consult the psychiatric and need rehabilitation , counselling that help in quit. You can use nicotin patch during quieting. Use chewgum and cadies. Drink lots of fluids, take fresh fruits, start regular exercise like stretching, yoga and relaxation exercise. Hope this may help you Best regards Dr. Sagar
