What Causes Dizziness, Excessive Sweating, Hand Tremors, Headache And Nausea?

Am diabetic, I think I m having a low sugar episode. Never had one like this before. Felt dizzy, sweaty, hands shaking, headache, nauseous. Ate a half of a banana and a small about of honey. Tested my sugar, started at 87 now up to 171. Still not feeling normal, but a bit better. Anything I should do at this point?

Hi,

Low blood sugar could be the reason for these symptoms. But since your levels are normal now then this should be controlled.

Get your serum electrolytes done if you have access to ER. Deranged sodium and potassium levels could be the reason for the symptoms.

This could be due to anxiety. Anxiety might cause similar symptoms. Please visit a doctor for an evaluation if symptoms persist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Seikhoo Bishnoi,
