What Causes Dizziness, Fatigue And Vomiting When Diagnosed With Chronic Fatty Liver?

Hlw doc. My mother aged 67 is suffering from chronic fatty liver. She feels dizziness and sleep inducing fatigue 24/7 times. She also feel pain in her upper abdomen and vomiting even liquid diet. She is also losing her muscles day by day. We are giving her homeopathic treatment but even that is not showing any sign of improvement in her health. Even medicine like Liv 52 DS is not working. I m very concerned about her health. Please give your valuable suggestions.

Hi,

Noted the history about your 67 year old Mother having Fatty Liver and feels lethargy, fatigue all the time in spite of Liv 52 DS medications, now is loosing muscle mass and vomiting even after liquid diet.
I would think about the following as the causes of her problems:
The problem looks to be GERD that is gastroesophageal disease along with other problems.
Hence I would advise her the following:
Consult a Gastroenterologist for proper clinical evaluation and examination, proper investigations:
Fibroscan of liver.
Upper GI Endoscopy.
CT scan or MRI of abdomen.
Detailed tests of blood, stool and urine.
All these will lead to a proper diagnosis and thus allow a proper management.
I am sure she will recover well once all these things are done.
Also see about her psychological problems and if present then a proper evaluation and management will be needed.
