What Causes Dizziness Followed By Vomiting?

Hi! On Thursday while on the computer, I randomly felt dizzy. I got up and felt like the room was spinning. It was really difficult to keep balance and I felt like throwing up because of it. I took a few bites during dinner and I threw up twice. After that, I felt much better and much less dizzy. I came to the conclusion that it must be a stomach virus? I did not take any medication at all since I felt better after throwing up. The next day, I still felt the dizziness effect but not like what it was on Thursday. As of today, I still feel like there is a lingering effect of the dizziness. This is really weird and has never happened to me before

Hello,

You are experiencing dizziness associated with vomiting while working on computer. You are also having lingering effect of dizziness. Dizziness is a common problem with people who spend long hours sitting in a specific posture while working on computer. Keep a proper posture while working on computers, do regular exercises.

Take frequent breaks during work, to relieve the muscles of neck, shoulders, arms and eyes. Massaging the neck muscles gently helps in stabilizing the persons nausea and dizziness. Change positions, get up from the chair and walk around. Take a break from work , just relax you will be fine. If not, get clinically examined by an ENT, to detect vertigo. You will have to get few blood tests, investigations & audiology test done.

You will be treated accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
