What Causes Dizziness, Heart Palpitation And Diarrhea After Withdrawal Of Metformin?
i have been on 1000mg of metformin twice a day my doctor wants me to stop taking it right now cold turkey i think i am having very bad side effects from the withdrawal. extreme anxiety dizziness heart beating too fast and diahrea and sick to my stomach.is this metformin withdrawal?

As per my clinical experience, the dizziness, heart palpitation and diarrhea are in concern with very high blood sugar levels provoked by the sudden stoppage of Metformin tablet. Guidelines at this point of time:
- Consume more liquids to maintain hydration
- Restart the doses of Metoformin
- Support with pre and probiotics
- Regular and vigilant control of Fasting and Postprandial blood sugar with HBA1c
