What Causes Dizziness In The Mornings While On Buspar?

I m taking 20 mg of Buspar twice daily with food. My mornings are terrible with dizziness and trying to stay awake. This lasts four about three hours. Thinking about stopping the Buspar. Or should I take the buspar 4 times during the day at 5mg and a dose of 20mg at nights?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Thank you for sharing your query on Healthcaremagic, I have carefully worked through your case and you are experiencing a common side effects due an overdose of Buspar I think your doctor or health care provider may also be able to tell you about ways to reduce or prevent some of these side effects, at this moment I advice you reduced to 15mg ( total amount daily) taking 5 mg 3 times a day with or without food. Dosage is based on your medical condition I recommend you kindly consult your primary doctor. I hope that my advice has been helpful, take care
Wishing you a good health
