What Causes Dizziness, Lack Of Energy And Dry Mouth In An Elderly Person?

And the doctor said he did not see My mom is 83 has been very active however she is taking thyroid medication for an over active thyroid and recently she has been feeling dizzy with lack of energy and dry mouth when she wakes up and feels that way for a while during the day. Her sleep is interrupted a few times during the night. Blood tests were taken and the doctor said everything is fine . What could be the problem

Hello,

I think your mother's symptoms are side effects of the medication she is using for hyperthyroidism. I suggest you to give her lots of fluids and maybe to use candy for dry mouth it helps to produce saliva.
