Hello,
You have a history of headache and
migraine, now you are feeling dizzy.
Dizziness can occur due to various reasons
like dehydration, low blood glucose, low blood pressure, thyroid issues, stressful lifestyle, over exertion, lack of proper sleep, etc. You are suggested to take adequate water, soups, juice and stay well fed, take home made balanced food rich in iron, calcium and protein. Make sure your vitals get normal. Take rest, avoid anxiety, stress and addictions if any. you should take adequate sleep. Migraine and
tension headache associated with dizziness may be indicative of vestibular migraine. The symptoms include sensitivity to light and sound, nausea, dizziness, vertigo, etc. Since you are getting dizzy avoid driving. Do not do any heavy work.
You are suggested to get a complete medical check up to rule out any pathology causing you poor general health, thyroid or
hormonal issues. You should also get an ENT examination done. Get
audiometry test done to detect any pathology that needs treatment. You will be treated accordingly. In the meantime, you can take pain relieving medicines like
acetaminophen, one SOS when required. You can take a course of Vertin -16 mg for relief. (always take medicines after consultation with your local GP).
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
