My daughter just texted me from her lacrosse camp. She is a goalie and was hit twice in the head (with a helmet on) with two very hard shots. The second shot put her on the ground. She did not lose consciousness or black out, but she has numbness in both her hands. She also says that she is dizzy and has a headache. The person treating her wants to leave her unmedicated and check her in the morning. Is this the best course of treatment? Not being able to get to her to check on her myself, I am very concerned about their do nothing approach.
