What Causes Dizziness, Stomach Pain And High BP?

Hi, my husband has been feeling dizzy for the past 2 days with stomach pains. I just took his blood pressure, he has been sitting in his recliner for quite some time. he does chew tobacco. He is sweaty as well. I just took his blood pressure, it was 149/101 with a heart beat of 97. Should I take him to the hospital?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Let me tell you that feeling dizzy is certainly a symptom of high blood pressure but stomach pain is a non specific symptom. But 149/100 is certainly raised BP and if this pressure remains there your husband at least needs to be examined by a physician if not taken to a hospital. I suggest get your husband examined by a nearby physician.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
