What Causes Dizziness, Sweating And Tiredness While On Amlodipine?

My mother is 82 in April she has been on candesartan cilexetil her blood pressure was up when she went to the doctor for a check up so they gave her amlodipine 10mg since she has been taking these she has had a few funny turns like tightening across stomach. Dizziness sweating tiredness but only when she stands up

Probably your mother has had a good control of bp with amlodipine and develops orthostatic hypotension on standing. Means bp falls on sudden standing.ask him to stand after sitting for awhile before sudden standing. Better consult your local doc.
