Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am having some symptoms that I don t know what to think about. I am having back pain and will be having surgery, but in the past week I noticed, everytime I stand up the room starts spinning, I find myself walking sideways and I have absolutely no strength in my arms (which I guess is from my back), but it seems to be getting worse. I am extremely tired all the time, and by 2:00 I can t hardly hold my eyes open. When I get home from work, I am not interested in anything except going to bed.
General & Family Physician, Dr. Varinder's Response
Hello,
In your case, I will recommend Blood Pressure (BP) checking sitting and standing to rule out postural hypotension as the difference should not be more than 20 mm.
You should go for Hb, RBS and ECG and chest x-ray pa view.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Varinder Joshi
