What Causes Dizziness, Vomiting And Wavy Lines In The Vision?
My husband experienced dizziness and wavy vision last night then threw up copiously for about an hour. He then slept through the nigh and felt much better this morning. He s managed to keep food and liquid down (small amounts, plain stuff) then at about the same time this evening started getting the dizziness and weird vision. He felt sick and dry heaved a couple of times about half an hour ago and is trying to sleep. My daughter was sent home from school earlier in the week with severe nausea and she & I have had upset tummies but nos sickness or disturbed vision. And our son is off school having had croup which has turned into a wheezy cough. I understand here s a lot of virus going round but haven t come across one quite like my husbands.
Hi I am Dr Mittal. The symptoms of the query are suggestive of minor strokes (possibly transient ischemic attacks) or meningitis. In either situations, I would suggest visiting an ER or a neurologist as soon as possible. Both the conditions are serious and need urgent evaluation. Therefore please do go to a Emergency room immediately. Best of luck, Dr Mittal
