Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Based on how I feel, think I have Vertigo. When I turn my head too quick and sometimes when I stand I am dizzy for a few seconds. I visited my doctor a week ago and was told I have fluid and was told to take otc allergy meds for seven days. Still have some dizziness and occasionally some pain deep in the ear. Also, based on what I read as symptoms, there is heavy sweating with little activity. Does this sound like vertigo? I had a severe bout of vertigo approximately 25 years ago that did not completely clear up for several weeks........help!
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, it is the vestibular dysfunction and nothing could be else it needs long term treatment with specific drug like Betahistine 8 mg or 16 mg three times in day, you discus this with your doctor hope this information helps.
