What Causes Dizziness When Diagnosed With Fibromyalgia In An Elderly Person?

My wife is 68 yrs old and has fibromyalgia. She has been taking the antibiotic Clindamycin for the past 8 days for a tooth infection. After supper she was sitting at the table and suddenly she got very dizzy. I helped her to the couch and after a glass of water and reclining for a few minutes she is feeling better. She was recently diagnosed with Sjogren s Syndrome. What can cause a sudden dizzy spell.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The tooth infection &antibiotics together must have given her weakness(difficulty in eating /vitamin deficiency), resulting in why he has symptoms.

Give her liquid/semisolid nutritive food&add vitamin B & lactobacilli supplements.

Drink sufficient water. Continue with treatment advised. She would be fine.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
