What Causes Dizziness When Lying On The Ear Torn Due To Accident?

My husband was bad in an accidents which resulted in his ear being torn. It has been a year since the accident and has also had a lump of scar tissue removed from the back of the ear. He gets very dizzy laying on that side or when he pulls on the ear? What could be causing this?

Hi.
Dizziness can not be caused by such pulling the ear or so.
Incidentally it is on the same side of the accident. It is possible that the internal ear structure got damaged due to trauma to the inner ear during accident which is causing the dizziness.
Get an opinion of an ENT Surgeon and get treated according to the CT scan and other reports he will suggest.
