What Causes Dizziness While Bending Downwards?

Male, 53, 195lbs. No history of health problems, only high LDL cholesterol (220) and High oxillates (recently gave birth to a 1cm kidney stone).

I have had dizziness for a few years now. Mainly when bending down, or getting up out of bed to quickly. It's worst when I'm lying down and tun my head too quickly (room spins). I've seen my Doc about it and he did the CT Scan and neck ultrasound with no abnormal results. He was also able to reproduce the dizziness (room spins) by having me lay flat on the exam table and turn my head from side to side. I've always been prone to motion sickness my entire life but this recent dizziness if getting rediculous.. Spells last up to 5 seconds...

Any guesses?
