What Causes Dizziness While On Allegra And Finasteride?
I just started taking allegra - I also am on finesteride..I am 90 but still very active including golf, swimming and walking. While exercising any of the above I recently have felt light headed and less able to continue so Ing then take meclizine to counter. Are these medications making things worse?
Lightheadedness might be due to Allegra. Lightheadedness and sedation are very common with use of Allegra. You have written why you are using Allegra. Advice 1. Continue finasteride as suggested 2. Stop Allegra if it is not credibly important 3. You can take cinnarizine for lightheadedness. Meczlizine also causes sedation. 4. Stop swimming, driving and work out for few days 5. Avoid smoking and alcohol 6. Consult a general physician for measuring you blood pressure 7. Investigations a. Blood sugar (F & PP) b. ECG to exclude other possible cause I hope this information will help you. I will be happy if you ask another question Thanks
