What Causes Dizziness While On Hydrochlorothiazide?
I m 83 in excellent condition and have borderline high blood presser and I take 1/2 pill daily of Hydrochlorothiazide - 25MG. Yester all day I was quite dizzy. About 5am this morning I was getting up to go to the bathroom and was so dizzy I went right back to bed. Than I had an entire body cold sweat. When I got up from bed about 7am I took my blood pressure and it was high at 155/90. I took my pill and again a blood pressure test now 168/98. Ate breakfast about 11am and then BP was 164/98 right arm and 170/100 left arm. Should I consider going to an emergency room? I have not been dizzy since early morning.
