What Causes Dizziness While On Losartan HCTZ?

I had been taking blood pressure medicine losarten HCTZ I stopped now I started again (yes I know stupid huh?) but I thought since I’m taking better care of myself maybe I should take it again but since I’ve been taking it I am very light headed and no energy...i guess I should stop taking it again. Is this indicative of the medicine?

Hi Dear ,

As per your query you have dizziness since you start taking Losartan HCTZ again , Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) are ear infection , hypoglycemia , anemia , meniere's disease , migraine and alteration in he blood circulation , but in your case it seems to me that symptoms are due to blood pressure medicine Losartan HCTZ . So , i would suggest you to consult your cardiologist and discuss the condition with him/her . Doctor may alter the dose or prescribe substitute . For now do not bend forward stop taking this medicine and drink green tea thrice a day .
