Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have had fluid on the frontal lobe of the brain and they did surgery and put in a shunt in my head to drain it into my stomach. My Dr put me on Pyridostigmine 60mg, 3 times a day. My surgeon has CT Scans and Xrays of my head about every three months. Everything is in place every time, but I have this roaring noise in my head. What are the side effects of this medication. I also take Namenda 28 1 time each day. I feel dizzy when I take the Pyridostigmine and loopy...
The dizziness that you are experiencing is due to side effect of Namenda, you need not worry but take the medication as prescribed. Pyrisdostigmine sometimes causes muscle weakness due to which you may feel loopy. However, if you are restless report immediately to your treating doctor, you might need attention.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
