I do not regularly take tramadol. I do use it for back pain occasionally. Yesterday I took a whole 50 MG pill. Today about 10 AM I took half of a 50 one. About 7 pm, after a short trip to the bathroom, I returned to my seat at a basketball game. I sat down in my seat and almost immediately I started feeling dizzy, very flush in my head, with everything twirling in my head, and a partial loss of consciousness, and then it was over. I never was fully unconscious. I am 85 years old with coronary artery disease, having had bypass apprx 15 years ago and see my heart doctor every 3 to 6 months with good results. Is it possible tramadol might be the culprit? I was taking tramadol 2 to 3 times a day and discontinued its use in Jan 2017. The last time I had a seizure like problem was about 3 to 4 weeks ago. It happened twice last summer, when I definitely was dehydrated. I am also quite certain that I had taken tramadol each time I had one of these seizures. Is it tramadol or a carotid problem?
