What Causes Dizziness While Standing Or Sitting In Children?
my 16 yo son feels faint while getting up from a sitting position he walks a short distance and then his vision becomes limited and narrow. he gets dizzy and loses his balance. lasts only approximately ten seconds - has been experiencing this for several weeks He reports this happens mainly at home after school.

I really appreciate your concern, although such condition could be due to orthostatic hypotension still it is advisable to rule out the cardio vascular disease and for that better to get done the CT brain and EKG and ECHO, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
