What Causes Dizziness While Suffering From Fibromyalgia?

I am a 60 year old female who suffers daily with Fibromyalgia. On Sunday, I had an incident where I was unsteady on my feet and light-headed, causing me to fall against a filing cabinet. The pain was quite intense. When I got home, I started taking Flexeril. There is CCno bruising, but the pain feels like I should have some bruising. Because of having Fibro, I don t know if this is anything to be concerned about or jus a flare caused my the fall.

Hello,

Dizziness resulting from dysautonomia can be called orthostatic intolerance, neurally mediated hypotension, or postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS). They also say POTS was one of the most common fibromyalgia symptoms they observed during tilt-table tests, which measure your response to changes in position.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
