General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
i can understand your concern. The symptoms you have mentioned can be due to high blood pressure. kindly get your mother's blood pressure checked. Medication dosage can be adjusted accordingly.
Long standing hypertension can lead to a condition in eye known as hypertensive retinopathy. i would suggest an eye examination with an opthalmologist. he will do a fundus examination and look for any changes.
A few basic tests like lipid profile, blood sugars, ecg, urea and creatinine are always advisable for your mom.
Hope i have answered your concern.
Have a nice day
