Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, I am recently having issues with my head spinning while I am trying to get to sleep. It doesn t matter if I am on my back or side. It s okay with my eyes open but the whole room goes when I shut my eyes. I used to have it really badly in my late teens and thought it was down to too much caffeine, but lately it s come back and I don t drink caffeine after midday. Any ideas? Thanks.
You may feel dizzy, faint or off balance if your heart isn't pumping enough blood to your brain. Causes include: Drop in blood pressure. A dramatic drop in your systolic blood pressure — the higher number in your blood pressure reading — may result in brief lightheadedness or a feeling of faintness. Dizziness is the feeling of being lightheaded, woozy, or unbalanced. It affects the sensory organs, specifically eyes and ears. It can cause fainting. Dizziness is not a disease but a symptom of other disorders.
