Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
when I am standing or walking the top of my head feels like I am in a state of perpetual spinning and my right foot randomly will jerk or slam down. I have been diagnosed with a-typical migraines and meniere s disease. Do you know anything that would cause my foot to jerk like this, I ve been to four neurologist?
The dizziness and a state of perpetual spinning while walking is caused by Meniere disease as already diagnosed by your doctor.
I advise to: • Monitor blood pressure and record the results for future evaluation. • Take meds as prescribed by your doctor regularly. Betahistine is the drug of choice; while avoiding long-time standing and walking will help. • Keep well hydrated. • Wear orthopedic shoes.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Albana Sejdini
