What Causes Dizziness With Hot "fuzziness" In The Body?

I am 57, 4' 8", 145 lbs. I am taking atenololfor high blood pressure, and liothyronine for hypothyroid, and bio-identical hormones.I have been having episodes of dizziness accompanied with a feeling of hot fuzziness all over my body. About a month ago the episode was so severe that I went to the ER. they admitted me; ran all kinds of tests; my potassium was 2.5. I was good to go home and do a follow up with my Dr. I have had these episodes before some mild, some very extreme.

Hello!

Welcome on HCM!

Your symptoms could be related to thyroid hormone imbalance. For this reason, I would recommend you to check your thyroid hormone levels. The dose of levothyroxine may need to be adjusted.

I would also recommend increasing potassium in your diet.

Hope to have been helpful!

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri
