What Causes Dizziness,weakness And Episodes Of Fainting?

Grandson is 17 / diagnosed with IBS but under control.-- has other syptoms that are unexplainable. dizzy, weakness, has fainted several times. local dr says this sometimes happens with teen agers in growth spurts but has been going on about 9 months. good eater and athletic. Had blood work and CAT scan with no abnormalities noted. I have checked blood sugar daily for 1 week and runs around 70 - blood pressure normal -Suggestions for next steps ? Local Dr says don t worry. don t drive if you are dizzy!! WORRIED GRANDMOTHER.

I really appreciate your concern, IBS is more or less is functional disease, with the emotional stress symptoms increases, if the impulses being controlled then everything would be fine, for the second part of your query, if there is no obvious symptoms and have good confident then one can drive, hope this information helps, take care.
