What Causes Dizzy, Burning Sensation While Urinating When On Back Pain Medication?
Hello. I saw a doctor for back-pain yesterday and he gave me some medicines (Calcium, a paracetamol and Pantoprazole). Today I was feeling dizzy and have a burning sensation when I urinate. I am planning to see my doctor tomorrow, but does this sound serious? Should I try to reach him now?
I have read your symptoms and we will find a solution for your problem.
There are two possibilities for your symptoms. -an urinary tract infection but you need to do an urine test to confirm the diagnosis and if it's positive you need to start antibiotics. -exessive amount of calcium.
If i were in your possition i would do an urine test to confirm an UTI. For the burning sensation use ibuprofen. Meanwhile have plenty of fluids to clean your bladder. -don't hold your urine for hours -drink 1 or 2 cups of chamomile tea,or rose tea.
If your symptoms continue even after the amount of liquids (2-3 liters each day) i suggest you check up with your physician.
If you have any other question feel free to contact me.
