What Causes Dizzy Spells Along With Disorientation?

hi i have been having sort of dizzy dazed and confused episodes the other day i was sweating all of a sudden then felt dizzy and saw stars.. it finally went away and i haven t felt 100% since then. I am at work presently and feel a little dazed and confused. I have high blood pressure and am on meds and it is low now. unsure what could be going on. Called my doctors and he retired and it will be 2 weeks to get into new one. They advised me to go to ER if this persists.

Understanding your concern .As per your query you are suffering from dizzy spells along with disorientation. The symptoms you mention in query are pointing towards a condition that affect middle ear like meniere's disease , labyrinthitis or otitis media. But it seems to me that the symptoms are pointing towards ear infection also known as labyrinthitis . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist or otolaryngologist for proper checkup . Doctor may order hearing test , CT OR MRI scan , EEG, ENG and blood test to find out the exact cause and rule out above mention conditions . Doctor may prescribe anti histamine , sedatives , antibiotics and anti ametic drugs . Doctor may also refer you to neurologist for migraine . Doctor may also refer you to endocrinologist. Meditation will help alot in this condition.
