Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Dizzy Spells Along With Light Headedness And Nausea?
I suffered today from dizziness, light headedness, nausea tingling in my arms and clamy. I ate breakfast the only thing that was different was I had a candy bar and some Pepsi. I have no medical conditions at all take no medications at all. I did have a bladder infection over a week ago. I almost passed out and at a loss for what would have triggered it.
* As per my clinical experience, the dizzy spells with light headache and nausea following Pepsi and candy bar intake may be in concern with GI infection via some sort of bacterial or viral infection most likely. My guidelines for better recovery
- drink more liquids in sessions in form of boiled water, coconut water, lemon juice
- avoid aerated drinks
- prefer blendarized vegan diet
- tablet ondancetron ( 4 mg ) and capsule omeprazole ( 20 mg ) with sips of water on empty stomach tablet acetaminophen ( 500 mg ) twice a day after meals
* Follow up after 24 hours or early as per the requirement.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
