What Causes Dizzy Spells Along With Nausea?

I am a teacher and was in class, I suddenly got dizzy. ( so much so that I grabbed my desk and thought we were having an earthquake) I was sitting at the time and one student asked if I was ok and that my eyes looked funny. I am a 43 yr old female with good overall health. after the episiode I was still a little dizzy and would only walk with support of a hand rail. Also a little nausous. ~ Terri YYYY@YYYY

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hell
Your symptoms could be related to hypoglycaemia ( low blood sugar), low blood pressure or BPPV
I would advise you to to visit a emergency room to check your blood pressure and a battery of tests like blood for hemoglobin CBC liver function test and blood sugar fasting and post prandial test

In case if everything comes normal than consult an ENT surgeon or vertigo clinic for detailed evaluation and confirmation of diagnosis
Meanwhile be careful, take somebodys help
you may fall and might get fracture due to near menopausal osteoporosis

Thanks for your question
Please feel free to ask for more clarification
Best wishes
