What Causes Dizzy Spells And Smell Of Ammonia?
I have been having a little bit of a dizzy spell and smelling ammonia. I have a history of liver transplantation, so the ammonia smells make me worried. I have started a new med for my heard and cholestoral in the last week. I am over 35 and in pretty good shape.

Smell of ammonia from the body can be a symptom of liver disease. As you are post transplant patient, repeat a lft, and cbc. Serum ammonia levels and liver function tests initially. Any abnormal odour from body can be a indicator of liver dysfunction.
