What Causes Dizzy Spells Followed By Distorted Vision?

hello! I ve been having sudden dizzy spells that cause my vision/eyes to go back and forth for about 15 seconds, then I can t move around because I get dizzier. I then feel horrible for hours later. had these around 20 years ago. went to an ent and had all the inner ears tests done, nothing. 49 married female, cholesterol good, weight good, on anti depressant, Effexor 112.5 for about a year for anxiety. also taking .50 klonapin at night to sleep. probably pre menopausing also. have tinnitus, GAD but nothing else. I m causing myself more anxiety not knowing when the spells will happen, I ve had them lying down, sitting and not moving at either time. is this free? I do not want to be charged for anything....if it s not free, disregard my questions.
