Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 60year old female. No health problems and on no meds. I started yesterday experiencing dizzy spells when I bend over or reach up and look up. The only thing I have done differently is I had a massage on Friday. I do not smoke and have the occasional glass of wine. I am about 30 lab over weight but have normal BP. The dizzy spells only happen when I bend down or get up in the morning for the past 48 hers.
Hi, It seems that you might be having postural hypotension ( Orthostatic hypotension ) giving this problem. In the morning before stand up, from lying down position sit for one minute and then standup. Go for measuring blood pressure in lying down position, sitting position and standing position. See for any fall of blood pressure. If require go for cervical spine x-ray to rule out cervical spondilitis. Ok and take care.
